It is important to click the link “own this business?” so you can control your business listing on Google. Once you claim your company listing (you’ll need a Gmail account to login with), you can build out the Google profile, correct any misinformation, add your location (important for Google maps ranking), link your website, add hours, create posts, add photos, a logo, and list your services. You can also get a link that you can send to customers, colleagues, and vendors or subcontractors to review your company. Google reviews are like gold when it comes to your SEO ranking.
