2021, with the help of in-house engineer Paul Kavka, Mike also secured approvals for a 45,000 square foot self-storage facility in Whiting, New Jersey. Kokes currently has three projects in its pipeline. The Riverside project (at right) broke ground in December and is well underway. The first 22 units are expected to be ready for occupancy by year-end, and the first phase is expected to be fully developed by early 2023.

In January, Kokes also began developing the second phase of its Eden & Main community – a 50,000 square foot, 41-unit apartment building – in Southington, Connecticut. The roof of the building is currently being sheathed, and the elevator is about to be installed. Since its inception in 2015, the mission of Kokes Properties has been to fulfill the Kokes family legacy of developing sustainable projects,

maintaining long-lasting relationships with vendors and customers, and being responsible corporate citizens within the communities in which it builds. Over the last three years, the company has enjoyed rapid growth in terms of both its scale and its head count. The company has high expectations for that trend to continue.
