Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ) is proud to continue its strong partnership with Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) by awarding scholarships to six graduating students pursuing careers in the skilled trades. This year, SBACNJ presented each recipient with a $500 scholarship to support their transition from education to employment in the trades. These awards are part of the Association’s ongoing mission to support workforce development and invest in the future of the homebuilding and construction industry. SBACNJ representatives Gina McNamara, Adam McIndoe, Lou Padula, Adam Lepore, Mike Colucci, Jr., and Stan Graser were present at each ceremony to personally honor the recipients and reinforce the association’s commitment to career development within the trades. The 2025 Scholarship Recipients: Plumbing (Brick) - David Vazquez-Quintero Building Construction (Brick) - Elias Craig HVAC-R (Brick) - Daniel Quay Electrical (Jackson) - Owen Jubak Custom Woodworking (Jackson) - Javier Tecalero Electrical (TR) - Matthew Davis These scholarships reflect the diversity of trades represented in the homebuilding industry and highlight the wide range of career paths available to today’s graduates. This continued partnership between SBACNJ and OCVTS exemplifies the value of connecting industry leaders with educational institutions to foster talent and build a strong pipeline of skilled professionals.
