Ageless Moments ADULT SOCIAL DAYCARE FOR THE YOUNG AT HEART By Pam Teel

Ageless Moments is an Adult Social Day care Facility conveniently located in Mon roe Township. The owner and founder, Delia Pollard, fully understands, on a very personal level, what it means to make the difficult transition between independent care and seeking assistance for a loved one after seeking daycare for her now, 97-year old mother. Realizing how difficult it was to find a daycare that focused on social en richment, she refused to sacrifice the sense of community that her mother deserved. From her experience in trying to find that perfect place, came a desire to open up her own facility; a place where social enrich ment, daily social activities, and personal hygiene supervision took the forefront. Ms. Pollard is also currently an adjunct profes sor at Mercer County Community College and is still actively working as a therapist conducting in-home intake, counseling, and family counseling. With a master’s degree in social work, involving emphasis on family coun seling, mental health, and substance abuse, Ms. Pollard was prepared to take on the challenge, forming a team of professionals with similar qualifications and a high level of passion to work with her. With one-on-one attention to their clients, staff members have undergone extensive training and background checks to ensure they are offering the same high level of attention across the board.
