Creature of Unknown Origin

Like so many times before, the shift was a spark that traveled through the course of my
veins like a pleasant hum. With my creature form came freedom, and a sort of sharpness my human
form couldn’t quite capture in full. It was that clarity I soug ht as my paws thudded against the
packed dirt paths of the woods beyond Spencer’s yard. Galloping through the terrain, I couldn’t
think, I could only act and focus on two things: where I was going and my own breathing.
