Monmouth Crossing Freehold, NJ Celebrates its 20th Year Anniversary By Pam Te l
This past February, Monmouth Crossing staff and residents celebrated its 20th year in operation. Located in Freehold Township, Monmouth Crossing, part of the Centrastate Healthcare System, just received its 8th consecutive Advanced Standing Distinction Award from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the Health Care Association of New Jersey. The Ad- vanced Standing Program was designed to elevate quality of care in Assisted Livings in New Jersey. “Only those facilities that meet these qualifications are eligible for advanced standing,” stated Heleyne Gladstein, Administrator of Monmouth Crossing. “This award is a great testament to our level of service and recognizes the compassionate care that our residents and their families have come to expect from the staff at Monmouth Crossing. We have an exceptional staff of caring, loving, and compassionate people; many who have been with us for a long period of time. Over that time, our staff has become a big part of the residents’ family. This is a key factor that makes us so very different from our competitors.” On February 20th, the staff hosted a special dinner for the residents as a way of giving back to them and thanking them for en- trusting them with their care. The celebration was also open to the public to give people a chance to get a taste of the community. It was attended by several government officials, as well as family members and Centrastate Healthcare System employees. Conveniently located across the street from CentraState Medical Center and the Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center, Monmouth Crossing offer seniors a variety of living options based on their individual needs.
