One such place is near the engine of cars. Many pets get injured and/or killed from people turning on their cars not knowing cats are hiding underneath. To keep them safe, gently bang on the hood and sides of your car before you get in and turn it on. The banging will spook them out of the way of your car. Remind your teen drivers and family and friends to do the same.
