Monmouth Crossing Receives its seventh consecutive Advanced Standing distinction Monmouth Crossing, CentraState Healthcare System’s senior assisted living community, has received its seventh consecutive Advanced Standing distinction from the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. Designed to elevate quality, the Advanced Standing program is a voluntary program open to all licensed assisted living facilities and comprehensive personal care homes in New Jersey. Monmouth Crossing received this distinction by demonstrating compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and submitting quality data that reached benchmarks set by its peers. Quality standards that assisted living facilities must demonstrate to receive this distinction include ongoing employee training and high resident and family satisfaction scores. Only those facilities that meet these qualifications are eligible for the certification. Heleyne Gladstein, administrator of senior services explains, “This award is a great testament to our level of service and recognizes the compassionate care that our residents and their families have come to expect from the staff at Monmouth Crossing.” Monmouth Crossing offers apartments including studio, one and two-bedroom designs. Residents at Monmouth Crossing receive a personalized care plan created by registered nurses, and services are customized to meet each resident’s needs andpreferences. The community also offers separate residential services for seniors withmemory disorders. Residents actively plan social and cultural programs, local and regional trips, holiday celebrations and oversee their own community governance.
