More cats available on the site. All cats come fixed, chipped, tested and up to date on shots. Zelda- Zelda's story is too sad. This oversize calico girl is 13. She was left alone in an apartment when her owners moved out. When the superintendent found her he called the family to ask what to do with her and they replied "throw her onto the street". This poor cat is confused and depressed at the moment. We hope to find her a new family with whom to live out her senior years. Would prefer to be an only pet. Marilyn is a 2 year old female cat. She loves to climb up into your arms. She is sort of dog like in that she runs to the door to welcome you home after work each day. She is also prone to jumping on her fosters back when she bends over to pick stuff up off the floor. Makes her foster laugh every time! She does fine with other dogs and cats. Zigzag is a 3 year old female tux. She is very mellow and loves to hang out next to you on the couch, but isn’t big on being picked up. She coexists with the other cats in the home and ignores the dogs as long as they leave her alone. However, she will hiss and bat at the other animals in her foster home if they get too close. Hazel and Tori are sisters who were taken from their momma too early and the adopter didn’t know how to care for them so he surrendered them to the rescue. They are 10 weeks old, fixed and ready to go home. They are really good friends and we'd like to keep them together if possible. They are super cuddly and ever so much fun to play with. They do fine with other cats and dogs. Scotty , also available are his young siblings, Kirk and Guinan. They were born in a yard in Brick and were in danger of being killed where they were so they came into the rescue where they are being raised by one of the momma cats. Hopefully they will be ready to go home in mid June, but approved adopters can reserve them now. Shelly is one of two momma cats that came into the rescue from Brick. She is very timid and will need a special family to work with her and help her to trust humans after a rough start in the outdoors. After all the hard work she has done raising her own babies and another litter of orphans, she deserves better than to be returned to the outdoors once the babies are weaned. HOPE FOR ANIMALS RESCUE- 732-549-1270 Manalapan A small group of volunteers that give a second chance to homeless and orphaned cats. They provide them with warmth, shelter, food, water, love and the medical care they need. They keep them safe and protect them from abuse and work tirelessly to match each and every one of them with a loving and permanent home best suited for the animal and the pet owner. All animals are spayed, tested and neutered. A 501(c) (3) non-profit orga- nization so all donations are 100% tax deductible!
