U.S. Department of Education Launches New Title IX Resources for Students, Institutions as Historic New Rule Takes Effect U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos launched new resources to help students and schools understand the protections provided by the De- partment’s historic regulation on Title IX, as the Rule takes full effect on August 14, 2020. The Rule, announced on May 6, 2020, following years of stakeholder input, public comment and careful deliberation, extends many new pro- tections against sexual harassment, and strongly safeguards the rights of all students, including the right to due process.

Then, join an 8-month dramatic workshop that will be meeting a minimum of at least once a month, beginning in Sep- tember 2020, with a presentation in May 2021 of completed scenes and select works-in-progress. The presentation will be at Roosevelt Borough Hall on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 8 pm. I will contact everyone who gets in touch with me, to set up an introduc- tory meeting at the end of September.
