ABC Celebrates ITS 70 TH ANNIVERSARY April 2-4, 2019

T

he Atlantic Builders Convention (ABC) is celebrating its 70th anniversary this April and numerous exciting changes are in store for attendees. Hosted by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA), ABC is the largest building industry trade show in the Northeast, drawing thousands of participants and hundreds of exhibitors from the Northeast region. To commemorate the 70th Anniversary, ABC 2019 will have an all new look and feel with a new logo, new exhibitors, new format, new host hotel and new conference space. Additionally, all events, parties, meeting and the exhibit area will be hosted under one roof, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. NJBA CEO Carol Ann Short, Esq. stated, “I am thrilled that ABC will be celebrating 70 years as the region’s leading building industry trade show. The longevity and success of ABC is a testament to the strength of NJBA and the building industry in NJ.”

The convention will open Wednesday morning in Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center. Attendees of ABC 2019 will have access to world-class accommodations and activities without having to leave the hotel. ABC Co-Chair Michael Borodinsky stated, “Moving the entire show to one location was critical to providing our attendees with an immersive experience and we are very excited to have the opportunity to celebrate 70 years at Harrah’s amazing venues.” ABC enjoyed tremendous success in 2018, including the addition of 35 new vendors all showcasing building products, an enhanced exhibit floor and increased attendance. ACB 2019 is already outpacing last year with one third of the exhibit space sold in just two weeks! We encourage anyone interested in exhibiting at ABC 2019 to reserve a space today before they become unavailable.

ABC’s rebranding is currently taking place and the format of the conference will undergo changes. This year, the Sales and Marketing Awards (SAM) is moving back to the start of the show, following the NJBA Annual Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday.
