T he Professional Women in Building of the Garden State (PWBGS) is excited to continue our Q&A article in Bulletin Board Magazine ! This issue we are featuring another founding member of the PWBGS, Rebecca Raffa. Many of you know Rebecca from her longtime Association participation in various committees and events. She has been an integral part of the PWBGS throughout the years and a very active participant in the Association, as well as a Board Member. We are so excited to present her take on how her journey through the Association and PWBGS has made her a better sales representative and taught her just how the relationships she has made and fostered over the years are well beyond transactional.

How long have you been a member of SBACNJ & what motivated you to join?

I have been a member of SBACNJ and PWB since 2018. Joining the Association provided me a way to build relationships that were more than just transactional. I was an active member for many years, but a position change a few years ago took me out of the state and away from the association. I have recently returned and now that I am getting back involved I have been reminded of how being active in the Association can elevate my potential and has proven that the relationships I previously built continue to be strong. It has felt really great to be welcomed back and genuinely missed by other members!
